Voting Rights
A voting right is the legal ability of shareholder(s) to vote on corporate matters, including decisions on the makeup of the management structures, board of directors, issuing securities, initiating corporate actions and making substantial changes in the corporation's operations such as M&A activity. Given that shareholders can be based globally, most shareholders would vote by proxy.
