ISA (Individual Savings Account)

An ISA (Individual Savings Account) is a tax-free way to save or invest. There are two main types, a Cash ISA and a Stocks & Shares ISA. You can put money into a Cash ISA and you don't pay tax on any interest you receive. On Stock & Shares ISA you don't pay tax on any further dividends or capital gains. Many ISA’s ‘lock in’ your capital for a set period of time.
